Tour Experience
A 15-minute vehicle transfer takes us south of Da Lat to the trailhead at 1,500 m. The trek begins with a steep climb to the ridgeline (1,650–1,700 m) through a pine forest. The reward is a breathtaking view of Da Lat and Langbian Mountain.
After a short rest at the lookout, we continue along the main ridgeline trail into dense jungle. The ecosystem shifts dramatically – towering hardwood trees, vibrant flowers, and the sounds of hidden birds fill the forest.
We stop at a small clearing near a trail junction overlooking the valley and lake below. Lunch includes fresh vegetables, fruits, and baguettes with toppings – a taste of Da Lat, the “vegetable garden of Vietnam.” After lunch, the trail gradually descends to 1,400 m, weaving through broadleaf evergreens before opening to a pine clearing by the lakeshore.
A short 20-minute transfer brings us to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, where your guide shares insights about Vietnamese Buddhism. Take time to explore the peaceful temple grounds and flower gardens before returning to Da Lat.
